When my kids are quiet...

Why is it when my friends send their kids to their rooms to play, their kids:

• Listen to music
• Watch TV
• Play mind-stretching games (scrabble,chess, cards)
• Exercise
• Read
• Crochet or knit
• Browse the web
• Write poetry
• Clean/Re-arrange their room/furniture
• Play games

But when I send my kids to their rooms to play and go to check on them I always seem to find them like this: 

When my kids are quiet and/or entertaining themselves... trust has gone out the window!!!
